I can see it used as a tool when my inspiration is stuck. Wouldn't copy and paste anything it spits out personally.

The difference between homage and theft is whether the reviewer enjoyed the project or not!  (laugh)

Sprite stacking? Wave function collapse? what are you up to eriOo?  :-D

The first two images are basic scenes made by me in Blender, fed those into Stable Diffusion.

These two processed with less "artistic freedom".

Very cool technology!

WOW! What a wonderful piece of software. Not sure if I'll ever tackle a point and click game when I'm used to AGS though, we'll see how I get along with it.

I think there are exceptions, there are good early access games, such as Factorio. I did buy it a few years into the early access, I'd read good things about it and I personally had a complete experience from it. Never felt like a beta tester for that particular game.

It grinds my gears, these armchair activists that are ready to get extra passionate about whatever the media put in their heads this week. This vaping frenzy is the perfect example.

The media deluges them with the 7, 8, 9 deaths that have now been associated with vaping. Not even with vaping itself, but with tainted cartridges. "But did you hear? 10 people who use vapes have now died! When will someone stop this madness?!"

Never mind cigarettes probably kill more people than that in a day. No thought is given to where those nicotine addicts will go for their fix once vapes are banned. These people are just ever ready to repeat exactly what they have been told, and nothing more. ("ANTIFREEZUH")

"SHOCK vaping DEATHS you won't BELIEVE" I'd rather smell unicorn fart smelling vapes than cigarette smoke any day of the week. What grinds my gears is these clickbait headlines that seem to be written by a bot. I get recommended articles come up on my phone, there's one website that has "SHOCK" in capitals every single article. Then if you do actually click it it's nowhere near as "SHOCKING", in fact it's an article about "NOTHING".

People who sit behind you on the bus and cough/sneeze on the back of your head.
And then I sit there and don't move because you don't want to wipe your head and get another person's spittle on your hand, and also don't want to acknowledge that it happened...

I've used a couple of your sci-fi tracks for my latest game.

My past self!
I've just spent an hour trying to figure out why text wasn't showing up on a GUI, only to find I'd made an if statement earlier for test reasons that I was supposed to delete...

Behind the Curve, a documentary about Flat Earthers, very good.
I pass on my turn to the next user who posts!

The Trove isn't dead, it's just sleeping!

I'm still open for admissions, I only update when I have a reasonable amount of extra content to add.
I stopped posting about it because like Danzvare said interest seemed to die down, and I didn't want to get on people's nerves by making multiple posts begging for content.

The hardest part is creating a battle system which is balanced and fun to play. Things get complex when you try to create a formula with a bunch of stats such as strength, speed, luck, stamina etc etc.

I think if I were going to take a crack at it I'd try to keep it as simple as possible, limit it to three character class types and have a rock/paper/scissor kind of thing with bonus damage for every xp level greater than the enemy.
